Mustafa kemal and Mohandas Gandhi were inspiring activist leaders to their dry land and to the world. Their countries were imperialized, and they stood up to antagonist forces trying to take over their land.
Mustafa kemal, or so called Ataturk, pay off of Turkey, was a political and military leader who transformed modern turkey from the Ottoman empire. with the precondition pretend Mustafa (Mustapha), he was as a young student given the name Kemal (meaning perfection) for his excellence in mathematics. He defied the Sultans orders to quash opposition and instead strengthened an army of his own to fight for independence from the Europeans. Between 1919 and 1923 Kemal successfully fought off foreign armies as well as opposition forces from Turkey. His fifteen historic period in office were turbulent -- he attempted political and social reforms and emulated the liberal democracies of the West, but as the party leader in a one-party state, he has also been called a dictator.

Nonetheless, he is considered to have almost single-handedly saved and modernized Turkey. In 1934 he was officially dubbed Ataturk, father of the Turks.
Revered in India as the Father of the Nation, Mohandas K. Gandhi is also a worldwide icon of non-violent political resistance. Gandhi was born in India and canvass law in England. He spent 20 years defending the rights of immigrants in South Africa. He returned to India in 1914, at last becoming the leader of the Indian National Congress. His public acts of rebelliousness landed him in jail many times as the struggle continued through World War II.
