The Emotions of Nature

This poesy talks about nature and how it is related to the emotions of life, death, and romance. This meter contains many different symbols for different emotions. For example, Thanatopsis is a greek god symbolizing death. In this poem it says To him who in the love of system holds / Communion with / her visible forms, she speaks / A various language; for his gayer mins / She has a voice of gladness, and a smile / And eloquence of beauty, and she glides / Into his darker musings, with a meek / And healing sympathy, that steals away / Their sharpness, ere he is aware. When thoughts / Of the last bitter mo come like a blight / over thy spirit, and racy images / Of the stern agony, and shroud, and p tout ensemble, / And breathless darkness, and the narrow house, / acquit thee to shudder and bob up sick at nucleus(lines 1-13). This poem reminds me of when I go into the woods with my dog Toby. When I am out on that point I keep an eye on the many different feelings nat ure portrays. For example, in that location is satisfaction and playfulness as the song birds fly and play, at that place is crossness as the squirrels are fighting over a nut, and there is the sadness of the dead bunny being eaten by ants and the buncombe tree lying on the ground.
