In the 1800s the people of America didnt care astir(predicate) how prisoners and mental personal were treated back then. This is because they didnt need to deal with it while they were building a nation and similarly they only care slightly their selves. Their perspective towards prisoners was they had their chance and blew it, that was their ideal on prisoners and after that erroneousness they were pretty much useless. As for mental personal they were the out cast of the group of Americans by throwing them in jail for acting different but worry prisoners they didnt emergency to deal with them so they almost literally put them in a cage and forgot just about them. The defeat part of it was the brio conditions it was some measure dirt bags with one repast a day that was a piece of bread and soupy water. on that point were no bathrooms they went in there room and slept on the floor of the cell. Once again this is because of how people didnt care about these types of people. Also many died from the poor conditions and starved to death. Its just sad how the human culture can treat mortal the same as him or her is awful.



This was better than being a slave but not by much I mean your not getting tortured or anything your support off a meal a day and leave in your own bathroom part bedroom, which is wrong. Overall if you were living in this time frame if you made one mistake your life would be ruined because know would care about once you became a prisoner or if you thought other than about this because you couldnt serve up your problem and got put in a cell because no one try to help with your problem.
The living style for prisoners started back in medieval times with the dungeon were it was dark, cold, and not the cleanest place in town and this would operate onto by lighting the load by giving them a little more friendly by lighting in the jail and give them their own cell.
